A webinar entitled "Climate Smart Crop Development" was organized on September 15th, 2020, by the DBT-North East Centre for Agricultural Biotechnology (DBT-NECAB) of Assam Agricultural University Jorhat (Assam, Jorhat, INDIA).
In this webinar, scientists from AdaptNET partners presented relevant topics:
Dr John Kapsomenakis and Dr. Dimitrios Voloudakis from Academy of Athens gave a lecture on "Indicators of Climate Change Risk in Agriculture".
Dr. Andreas Voloudakis from AUA (Athens) gave a lecture on "Breeding for climate change resilient crops".
Dr. Himabindu Kudapa from ICRISAT (Patancheru) gave a lecture on "Multi-omics approaches for strategic crop improvement: A climate change perspective".
Dr. Ishwarappa Katageri from (UAS, Dharwad) gave a lecture on " The Indian agriculture under the pressure of climate change”.
